About The Kraichy & Erickson
Harp & Violin Duo

Suddenly the bridal march bursts forth in bell-like sonority, where guests may have expected the conventional drone of the organ, and all rise with eyes upon you as you approach the bridegroom, in happy greeting. For the reception and even the dinner, the same musicians change the mood to easy listening favorites, up-beat contemporary, or familiar classics, as desired, as you host the most important celebration of your life.

Harpist Barbara Kraichy and violinist Ron Erickson, as the Kraichy and Erickson Harp and Violin Duo, have been working together in SW Florida since the beginning of the millennium, in concerts, church events, and entertainment. Both are conservatory trained in New York, Barbara at the Manhattan School and Ron at the Juilliard, but are natives of Seattle, where they played in some of the same orchestras before assuming their individual post-graduate careers. The Kraichy and Erickson Harp and Violin Duo has become an established entity in SW Florida for a wide variety of events, both as featured concert artists and as accompaniment to weddings and other social and ceremonial occasions.

The repertory list of the Duo includes hundreds of standards, and ethnic and national favorites, from pop to classics. Your own choices from outside the list can generally be accommodated, with early enough notice.
